NDFSK vice-chairman supports New Year editorial

The vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the National Democratic Front of South Korea on January 3 released a statement in support of the joint editorial of Rodong Sinmun, Josoninmingun and Chongnyonjonwi.

The task facing the movement for national reunification set forth in the joint editorial of the north are the co-ordinates for actions which all the fellow countrymen should hold fast to and implement without fail this year, the statement said, and went on:

The people from all walks of life should turn out as one in the struggle to put an end to the US military presence and domination and defend national sovereignty and dignity. They should, at the same time, exert all efforts to frustrate “cooperation” with outside forces and achieve the country’s reunification by the concerted efforts of the nation.

All the patriotic people should strongly oppose and reject the US hostile policy towards the north and its moves for a war of aggression and conduct a nation-wide struggle for peace against war and the US in order to force the US to withdraw its troops from south Korea to the last man, not “reducing” them.

The NDFSK will join all the patriotic people in opposing and rejecting any acts against the nation and reunification such as shunning the joint declaration and going against it and launch an indomitable struggle to defend and implement the historic declaration.

This year the south Korean people will unanimously support and defend the Songun politics of the north, a treasured sword for national defense and a key to fully ensuring happiness, always remembering the days they have spent in peace, demonstrating national dignity under the protection of Songun.
