ASSOCIATION FOR THE STUDY OF SONGUN

POLITICS OF THE UK

London UK 5th December 2004

Joint Statement of the Association For the Study of Songun Politics of the
UK, The Juche Idea Study Group of England and the Society For the
Independence and Unity of England.

Today the Association for the Study of Songun Politics of the
UK, the Juche
Idea Study Group of
England and the Society for the Independence and Unity
of
England issued the following joint statement in connection with the fascist suppression of 30 different Internet sites by the south Korean authorities.
This is a serious act harming north-south relations and the reunification
of
Korea. It surely goes against the historic June 15 declaration.
It is something beyond common sense that Internet sites' connections are cut off in
south Korea though it is the IT age in which the operation of Internet sites has become a global trend. This is little different from the suppression of the press in the period of the puppet fascist regimes of Syngman Rhee, Park Chung Hee, Chun Do Hwan and Roh Tae Woo.
This goes to clearly prove that the south Korean authorities' loudmouthed "south-north reconciliation and cooperation" is nothing but hypocrisy and their real intention is to stand in confrontation with the DPRK.
We demand that the south Korean authorities withdraw this anachronistic and reactionary measure at once.
