The
greatest man of great men and the greatest saint of saints
July
8 is the day marking the 10th anniversary of the demise of great
President Kim Il Sung.
The
demise of the President whom the progressive humankind had worshipped as
the sun and legendary great man was the greatest grief ever known in the
5,000-year-long national history.
The
sudden death of the President who had shouldered the destiny of the nation
was an irreparable greatest loss at the historic time when the socialist
cause of Juche was winning victory after victory breaking through manifold
difficulties and ordeals in north Korea
and a new phase was opening on the road ahead of the national reunification.
From
the early age of teens when he embarked on the road of revolution to his
80s great President Kim Il Sung had devoted his all for national
liberation and prosperity, happiness of the people, national reunification
and global independence and, thus, performing undying feats for the Korean
nation and other humankind.
The
whole life of the President, who had fathered the immortal Juche idea and
brilliantly embodied it to enforce the politics for the people, is that
of the great leader of people unprecedented in the times and history. He
was an unusual great master of idea and theory who had illumined the way
ahead of the times and humankind, a great master of outstanding leadership
who had led the people to the struggle for national liberation, class emancipation
and human liberation and an incarnation of love who had embraced all the
people in his broad bosom. After meeting with the President former US President
Jimmy Carter said that President Kim Il Sung is an outstanding man
just likethe one that combines George
Washington, the first US President who had the highest reputation in the
US, Tomas Jefferson and Abraham Lincoln.
Indeed,
President Kim Il Sung is the greatest
of great men and greatest saint of saints endowed with the excellent wisdom
and intelligence, leadership ability and virtue of all great men and saints
on the highest level.
Though
his heart stopped beating, the President is immortal in the hearts of the
Korean nation and humankind.
His
revolutionary history is firmly succeeded by leader Kim Jong Il,
a faithful successor, and his revolutionary cause will surely be accomplished
by leader Kim Jong Il,
the great sun of the 21st century who is revered as people¡¯s
leader, legendary great man and iron-willed brilliant commander.
