The world
progressives praise the respected Marshal Kim Jong Il
as a “genius military strategist”, and the greatest brilliant commander.
During the last 12 years
since the Marshal assumed the supreme commandership of the Korean People's
Army, the praise has reverberated throughout the world, indeed.
The Indian
newspaper “Sabad Saksi”
wrote;
“Holding in high
esteem the great iron-willed perspicacious Marshal as the supreme commander of
the revolutionary armed forces is a fundamental question on which the destiny
and future of socialism hinge.
Marshal Kim Jong
Il is an extraordinary statesman and a genius
military strategist possessed of both the literary and military arts.
By holding him as
the supreme commander, a trustful guarantee to accomplish the cause of the
Korean-style socialism to the last and a rosy future could be opened ahead of
the Korean nation and the developing and strengthening of the revolutionary
forces.
The historical
course made by Marshal Kim Jong Il after his assumption of the supreme
commandership of the KPA was a glorious one through which his greatness as a
marshal-type statesman has been fully showcased.”
Marshal Yazov, former USSR Defense Minister, in an article titled
“Supreme Commander Kim Jong Il and the ever-victorious strong army”
extolled the Marshal as follows.
“The feats of
Supreme Commander Kim Jong Il who has greatly
contributed to the cause of peace by building and leading the political forces
and strong army wisely, are unlikely to be found among contemporary commanders.
The unique military
activities of Supreme Commander Kim Jong Il
attest eloquently, beyond any doubt to the fact that he is the greatest
brilliant commander who was born with the talents of the genius commander.
Indeed, it was
unheard in history of a great man like comrade Kim Jong Il who is
mastering the literary and military arts through perfect possession of the
features as a political helmsman and the talents of a genius commander at the
same time.”
The general
secretary of the Socialist Revolutionary Party of Peru said;
