War servant’s imprudent action

The Lee Myung-bak regime has stubbornly pursued the anti-north Korean confrontational policy. The south Korean military authorities and the ruling Grand National Party of south Korea aggravate the situation on the Korean Peninsula, trumpeting about north Korea’s self-defensive steps as a security crisis after the Korean War and massively concentrating troops. A high-ranking official of the Lee regime made thoughtless remarks to journalists that south Korea should put pressure upon north Korea and impose unbearable pains on it.

It is a cunning artifice to calm down the atmosphere against Lee and government with the inter-Korean confrontational policy.

As well-known to the world, the Lee regime is struggling in a serious political predicament.

The Lee regime is scorned by the progressive forces as well as the conservatives owing to his political oppression reminiscent of the past dictatorship, the economic policy for the rich and the deterioration of inter-Korean ties. Still worse, the regime is in a tight corner due to a crushing defeat in a special election held in April 29 this year and a tragic suicide of the former president caused by a retaliatory investigation against the political rival.

The Lee regime and the ruling GNP suffer a declining popularity rate.

The Lee regime tries to seek a way out of the political crisis by inventing “nuclear threat from north Korea.”

North Korea’s nuclear test served as a powerful sword defending peace and security of the Korean Peninsula, as it is a self-defensive measure to cope with the US and its followers’ hostile policy against it.

However, the Lee regime is hell-bent to mislead the public opinion and maintain the regime by igniting a war on the Korean Peninsula.

The Lee regime repeats the errors of Syngman Rhee clique that started the Korean War in collusion with the US.

The Korean Peninsula is in a touch-and-go situation by the US and its followers.

The Lee regime’s imprudent behavior would inflict unspeakable disaster upon the Korean nation.

The south Koreans from all walks of life should turn out in the struggle against the remorseless confrontational policy of the Lee regime that tries to unleash a war on the Korean Peninsula.
