An appeal to the south Koreans

Dear countrymen!

Now the Lee Myung-bak warlike regime drives the situation on the Korean Peninsula to the brink of war by launching Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military exercise with the United States, despite strong protest of the Korean nation.

Look!

The warlike forces of the south Korea and the US staged the war exercises by mobilizing large-scale forces and all the aggressive means in the air, land, and sea.

F-16 fighter bombers, pursuit assault planes, electronic jamming planes and refueling tankers based in south Korea and overseas, in addition, B-52H, B-2A strategic bombers and F-22A Rapter fighter bombers based in south Korea are flying over the sky of south Korea. The south Korea-US combined forces are launching offensive operation such as the infiltration into the rear, ground attack, coastal landing and surprise attack operations in the land. The nuclear-powered carriers made up of Aegis-class cruisers, destroyers and nuclear submarines have already started the war exercises.

The exercises unprecedented in terms of nature and scale, that mobilized large-scale forces and up-to-date strike means enough to break out a war, are an extremely adventurous nuclear war drill and an aggressive war drill for the preemptive strike against north Korea.

The exercises are more dangerous as it is being staged at the time when the warlike forces at home and abroad make frantic efforts to intercept a north Korea’s satellite for peaceful purpose.

The Lee regime, lost control of itself, makes desperate efforts to ignite a war against north Korea, trumpeting about “violation of the UN resolution” and “joint action.”

The inter-Korean relation is in a state of catastrophe owing to the Lee regime that has pursued the policy against north Korea, clamoring about “lost decade.” The inter-Korean agreements related to easing the military and political dispute and prevention of military clash have been invalidated and there are no mechanisms to prevent any military skirmish.

The Korean Peninsula is on the crossroads of peace or war due to the crazy war exercises against north Korea.

The Korean people would fall to victims of war and the Korean Peninsula would be reduced to devastated land, should a war break out.

The south Koreans, who are earnestly desirous of peace and reunification, would not sit idle as the US and the Lee regime drive the existence and future of the nation to ruin by provoking a war against north Korea.

The south Koreans should never tolerate a new nuclear provocation of the warlike forces at home and abroad in any case.

The grave situation requests the south Koreans to understand dangerousness of the south Korea-US joint war exercises against north Korea and turn out in the struggle for peace against war.

The Korean people are the masters to prevent the disaster of war and it is the Korean nation to prevent the war and defend peace.

The south Koreans from all walks of life should turn out in a nationwide resistance to frustrate the warlike forces of the US and the Lee regime’s adventurous war maneuvers against north Korea.

A war knows no mercy.

Those who are desirous of peace should intensify the struggle for peace against war transcending the differences of political view, religion, party affiliation and residential regions.

Let us wage intensive national campaign against war in every place that the war exercises are being launched.

The US aggressive troops are the root causes of all the misfortunes and miseries of the Korean nation and the hotbed of the war against north Korea.

Let us vigorously accelerate the struggle to terminate US the military presence and domination over south Korea under the banner of independence against the US.

Let us withdraw the US troops and military bases in south Korea through a intensive struggle.

Let us frustrate the US anachronistic hostile policy toward north Korea and war maneuvers against north Korea.

The pro-US Lee clique makes mad efforts to provoke a war against north Korea with the help of the foreign forces.

Let us foil the war maneuvers of Lee Myung-bak who is a faithful dog to back the US nuclear war policy.

Let us punish Lee Myung-bak who is going to inflict war disaster upon the Korean nation and has turned south Korea into a barren land of public welfare, the people’s rights and democracy in the name of the Korean nation.

Let us kindle a nationwide resistance to liquidate Lee Myung-bak who is a confrontational maniac against north Korea and traitor to the nation.

The adoption of report of the Supreme Command of the Korean People’s Army and the statement of a spokesman for the General Staff of the Korean People’s Army to cope with the grave situation on the Korean Peninsula are the most righteous self-defensive step reflecting the aspiration and will of the Korean nation.

The wild ambitions of the warlike forces at home and abroad were frustrated in the past as north Korea has a powerful war deterrent.

A just war deterrent for a country and nation can prevent a war.

The south Koreans should positively support the Songun politics of north Korea, pride of the nation and a sword for peace.

Let us intensify the struggle for peace against war with certain victory, regarding the powerful war deterrent of north Korea as a great wealth of the country.

The war provocations of the US and its followers are doomed to failure only when the south Koreans launch an intensive struggle against the US, war and Lee Myung-bak across south Korea.

The south Koreans should turn out in the struggle with extraordinary determination and will to punish the US and the Lee regime which are crazy about the war maneuvers against north Korea and open a new era of peace and reunification.

Victory is in store for the Korean nation who struggles in unity.
