The movement headquarters against the US and Lee Myung-bak formed in south Korea

An inaugural ceremony to form the movement headquarters against the US and Lee Myung–bak was formed at Chosun University in Gwangju of south Korea on May 18.

A declaration was read out at the ceremony.

The declaration said that neither national existence, national sovereignty nor reunification are realized without purging Lee Myung-bak and withdrawal of the US troops, disturber of peace, from south Korea, it continued to say;

We will stand in the van against the US and Lee Myung-bak to implement the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration. We should bring the US and Lee regime under control with national strength in order to implement the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration.

We will take the lead in the struggle against the sycophantic Lee regime and the US.

We will resolutely frustrate the US army’s attempt for permanent stationing in south Korea and anti-reunification policy of Lee, “no nukes, opening and 3,000 dollars per capita”, and struggle to realize an independent politics that the people desire.

We should intensify the present anti-US and Lee struggle into a nationwide one.

To this end, all the independent reunification forces in south Korea should wage stubborn struggle in unity on the occasion of the June 15.

Victory is always in store for justice and people who struggle for independence, democracy and reunification.

Let us open up a new era of independent reunification, peace and prosperity by fully implementing the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration.
