We
Warmly Support the Joint New Year Editorial of the DPRK
Today the Association
for the Study of Songun Politics and the Juche Idea Study Group of England
issued a joint statement in support of the joint editorial of the DPRK main
newspapers entitled "Glorify This Year of the 60th Anniversary of the
Founding of the DPRK as a Year of Historical Turn Which Will Go Down in the
History of the Country".
The editorial of the
DPRK is indeed highly noteworthy and significant. It sets out revolutionary and
militant tasks to be fulfilled in the struggle for socialist construction
calling for the 60th anniversary of the DPRK to be glorified.
Our members will study
this profound editorial. We are excited by the prospect of the 60th anniversary
of the foundation of the DPRK being glorified.
The 60th anniversary of
the DPRK is a landmark event not only for the people of the DPRK but also for the
Juche idea and Songun idea followers and the world progressive and
revolutionary people.
Great success were
achieved in 2007, the DPRK's defense power was further increased and the
independence and self support of the national economy enhanced.
The editorial correctly
points out that "Our Republic is a great people's country which embodies
the Juche idea, the most dignified, invincible socialist power and the cradle
of the eternal life and happiness of our people. The founding of the DPRK by Kim Il Sung was a historic event which
made our people an independent and mighty revolutionary people and ushered in
the building of a socialist state centered on the masses". This is
significant for those people throughout the world who struggle for independence
and socialism.
The editorial correctly
embodies the Juche-orientated line of putting ideology first. This has proved
to be the correct way to build socialism as attempts to build socialism by
stressing on the material factor alone led to the collapse of socialism in some
countries and to going off the rails in other countries.
The editorial also calls
for smashing the imperialists ideological and cultural infiltration and for
adherence to the revolutionary and class principle.
We warmly applaud this
and call for revolutionary peoples to take note of this.
Socialism was frustrated
in some countries because they failed to counter the insidious intrusion of
bourgeois imperialist ideology and culture in their societies.
The editorial is true to
the Songun revolutionary line of building up defense power. The armed might of
imperialism is only defeated by the armed might of socialism!
The editorial stresses that
the national defense is an all people¡¯s work and calls for the enhancement of
socialist military power.
We support the line of
giving full play to advantages and vitality of the independent national
economy. The editorial correctly puts emphasis on improving people's living
standards. In contrast to the capitalist countries where living standards are
being reduced, the DPRK will implement the people¡¯s living-first policy.
We are sure that the
joint editorial will become the banner of building a people¡¯s socialist
paradise of Songun in the

JISGE salute and applaud the joint editorial.
We call upon other Study
groups and organizations to study it and organize in support of it!
We hope that meaningful
functions will be organized throughout the world to celebrate the 60th
anniversary of the DPRK, the bastion of real socialism and Juche.
We wish the people, army
and Party of the DPRK great success in the struggle to glorify the 60th
anniversary of the DPRK.
