Warm congratulations to the Syrian people on the 44^th anniversary of March 8 revolution  

The Syrian servicemen and people overthrew the incompetent reactionary regime under the leadership of the Baath Party and built a new government on March 8, 1963.

After the victory of the revolution, the Syrian people struggled to build prospering Syria, firmly defending the revolutionary gains under the leadership of former President Hafez al Assad. Great successes were registered in the Syrian people’s struggle for independence and social progress. Legacy of the past had gone and social progress has been achieved. Remarkable successes have been recorded and the country has been renovated.

The road of the Syrian people is not smooth. They have protected sovereignty and dignity of the country, frustrating incessant military threats and intervention of the imperialists and zionists. They have endeavored to regain the Golan Heights from Israel, achieve territorial integrity, defend interests of the Arabian people and settle the issue of the Middle East peacefully.

Today the Syrian people advance along the road of progress and prosperity under the leadership of President Bashar al Assad, holding higher the banner of independence against imperialism.

The Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front, resolutely denouncing the unreasonable threat and pressure of the imperialists including the US against Syria, positively support the just cause of the Syrian people in their struggle to defend national sovereignty and ensure peace and security of the Middle East.

The just cause of the Syrian people for independent development and social progress will certainly emerge victorious.
