Solidarity and support to the Iranian people

The Iranian people won victory of Islamic revolution after overthrowing pro-US dictatorial regime on February 11, 1979.

After the revolution, the Iranian people have vigorously advanced along the road of independence against imperialism under the idea of “independence, freedom and Islamic Republic,” thus registering eye-opening progress and development in many fields including politics, economy, culture and military affairs.

The imperialists make desperate efforts to liquidate the Iran Islamic revolution. The US has interfered in domestic affairs of Iran, taking issue of its peaceful nuclear program. Of late, the US tries to put international pressure upon Iran, openly revealing its intention of military invasion against Iran and reinforcing nuclear-powered aircraft carrier to the Persian Gulf.

The Iranian people have taken self-defensive measures, watching carefully the US military maneuvers. They are fully determined to defend the country and the Islamic revolution.

Recently, the Iranian President reaffirmed that Iran would not yield to the enemy’s pressure on the development of its peaceful nuclear program. Noting that the imperialists can not break the will of the Iranian people to develop peaceful nuclear energy, he said that unity of the nation and resistance will become castle foiling maneuvers. He said that the Iranians are making efforts to achieve progress of the country and the economic sanction of the West against the Iranians will prove ineffective.

The principled stand of the Iranian people, who are confident of their righteous cause and independent rights, enjoy international support.

The AINDF vehemently denounces the US and the West moves against Iran and renders support and solidarity to the just struggle of the Iranian people, marking the 28^th anniversary of the victory in the Islamic revolution in Iran.
