Declaration on the current situation

 

Turbulent 2006 is coming to an end.

Confrontation between the forces supporting the June 15 joint declaration and the anti-June 15 joint declaration and between the progressive forces for reform and the pro-US conservatives were fiercer in this year.

What did the south Korean people bear in their hearts at the end of the year they have spent through uncompromising struggle against the old?  

Without extermination of the pro-US conservative forces including the Grand National Party, neither progressive reform nor peace nor reunification can be guaranteed.

Anti-national, anti-reunification and anti-national crimes committed by the pro-US conservatives including the GNP that has indulged in dependence on the US and treachery was unprecedented in character, method and scale.

The GNP¡¯s maneuvers against north Korea¡¯s war deterrent is the extreme of the anti-national crime, sparking indignation of the south Koreans.

The GNP has made frantic efforts to reverse the era of June 15 reunification to that of confrontation in the past, saying about total suspension of the inter-Korean exchange and about war against north Korea.

The GNP turned parliamentary into the place of anti-north Korea campaign and created unrest and fear in south Korean society, putting aside impending issues on the people¡¯s livelihood. Their disgraceful behavior shows that the GNP is a treacherous group mad about pro-US flunkeyism and ambition for power.

The south Korean people clearly saw indecent behavior of the GNP, enemy of the nation, obstacle to reunification and traitor of the times, through crimes the GNP committed while slandering north Korea.

The GNP is slandering the south Korean people from all walks of life who aspire after progressive reform and reunification as ¡°dangerous forces playing to the tune of north Korea¡± and saying the south Koreans¡¯ struggle against the south Korea-US ¡°Free Trade Agreement¡± as acts following the ¡°instruction of north Korea.¡±

Ultra reactionary trend hampers the advance of the June 15 era owing to the frantic maneuvers of the pro-US conservatives including the GNP which has made reckless repression on the progressive forces and is mad about the anti-north Korea moves to seize power in the next presidential election.

Dear people!

New year 2007 is an important year in which the 17th presidential election will be held.  

Unless the GNP¡¯s wild ambition for power and maneuvers against north Korea are frustrated, the pro-US conservatives including the GNP would take power.

Dark era of military fascist dictatorship may be recapitulated, the inter-Korean relation be in jeopardy and the Korean Peninsula may suffer disaster of nuclear war.     

The current situation urgently asks the south Koreans, who aspire after progress and wants peace and reunification, to turn out in the struggle against the GNP.    

The AINDF, which has shared the same destiny with the south Korean people in the just cause for realizing independence, democracy and reunification, solemnly declares with firm will to make 2007 the year of struggle against the GNP.      .     

1. The south Korean people should turn out in the struggle to eradicate the Grand National Party.

The GNP is advocating that it would improve the people¡¯s livelihood as if it won in the next presidential election.

Exterminating the GNP is the demands of history and call of the time.

Fruition of democracy achieved through bloody struggle will be maintained, peace of this land be guaranteed and the June 15 era be advanced if the GNP be eradicated.

The people from all walks of life and organizations should intensify the struggle against the GNP across south Korea.

Let us expose crimes of the GNP that seeks only personal glory sacrificing the interests of the nation to the foreign forces.

Let us turn all the struggle including the struggle for right to existence to the struggle against the GNP.

Let us conduct the struggle against the GNP throughout south Korea.

Let us turn out in the struggle to put the GNP in the dustbin of history, transcending the interests and ism of class.          

2. Let us resolutely frustrate the moves of the pro-US conservatives against north Korea.

The vicious anti-north Korea moves of the pro-US conservatives including the GNP are intolerable anti-national imprudent act to block national unity, reconciliation and the June 15 era.

The south Korean people from all walks of life should look squarely the dangerousness of the pro-US conservatives¡¯ move against north Korea to resolutely frustrate it.

Let us refute the GNP¡¯s sophism about just war deterrent of north Korea that guarantees peace and security of the Korean Peninsula.

Let us frustrate the moves of the GNP to reject the June 15 joint declaration and block inter-Korean cooperation and exchange.

Let us smash the anti-June 15 forces by thoroughly implementing the June 15 joint declaration under the idea of ¡°By our nation itself.¡±    

3. Let us intensify the struggle for peace against war.

Vigorous struggle for peace against war is imperative to oust the GNP, a warlike force.

The US schemes to launch another war against north Korea by assisting the GNP to win the next presidential election.

The GNP advertises it will pursue stick toward north Korea if it takes power and put renegotiation of wartime operational control authority and permanent presence of the US troops in south Korea as its presidential campaign commitment. It is open declaration that it would take the lead in implementing the US maneuvers to unleash war against north Korea.

By intensifying the struggle for peace against war, the people from all walks of life should foil the moves of the GNP to ignite war on the Korean Peninsula in collusion with the foreign forces.  

Let us turn out in the struggle for peace against war.

Let us conduct the struggle against belligerent forces¡¯ war maneuvers and arms build-up against north Korea.

Let us conduct nationwide struggle for the withdrawal of the US troops and the US military bases from south Korea.

Let us eradicate the GNP, errand boy of the US and warlike party.    

4. Let us consolidate solidarity between the progressive reform forces.

Now that the collusion between the pro-US conservative forces becomes evermore undisguised, solidarity between the progressive reform forces is a pressing task.

To form a great alliance against the conservatives is a sure guarantee to achieve decisive victory in the struggle against the conservatives, frustrating the collusion of the pro-US conservatives.

Those who want progressive reform and reunification should achieve a great alliance against the conservatives as soon as possible, transcending interests and ism of the parties.

Political parties, factions and people from all social standings should form a great alliance against the conservatives to smash the GNP¡¯s wild ambition to seize the power in next presidential election, transcending the interests of the parties. .         

Regardless of age and sex, people who do not want the GNP¡¯s power should take part in solidarity with the progressive reform forces.   

Let us keep joint pace and take the solidarity action in the struggle for foiling the vicious moves of the pro-US conservatives and systemize the progressive reform forces and enhance the might of the forces.

5. Let us positively support the Songun politics of north Korea, the pride of the Korean nation.

The Songun politics of north Korea is a sword for frustrating the war moves of the belligerent forces including the US and the GNP and defending the destiny of the Korean nation. It is patriotic banner to bring the dawn of reunification, putting an end to national division.

There is a path to demonstrate national dignity and honor, and hasten reunification of Korea and achieve prosperity of a reunified country in supporting the Songun politics.   

Let us positively support the Songun politics by uniting as one.

Let us achieve national unity and prosperity under the Songun umbrella, rejecting nuclear umbrella of the US 

Let us be active propagandists and positive supporters of the Songun politics.

Now the GNP has made frantic efforts to hamper the advance of the progressive reform forces and reunification, however, it is miserable behavior of the filth of history.  

Let us make a new springboard for the progressive reform forces and open wide avenue of the June 15 independent reunification era by decorating new year 2007 as the year of ousting the GNP with sure confidence and optimism.

Victory is in store for the south Korean people who advance for the new.

Statement of the vice chairman of AINDF Central Committee

 

Today we significantly mark the 15th anniversary of the leader Kim Jong Il¡¯s assumption of the Supreme Commandership of the Korean People¡¯s Army and the 89th birth anniversary of Kim Jong Suk, heroine of the anti-Japanese struggle at an emotional time when national dignity is being demonstrated throughout the world for having the peerless commander and a new turning point of independent reunification is opening.

On this auspicious day, the vanguard fighters and the south Korean people from all walks of life extend the warmest congratulation to leader Kim Jong Il, supreme commander of the Korean People¡¯s Army and pays noble respects to Kim Jong Suk, heroine of the anti-Japanese armed struggle.

It was the greatest fortune of the Korean nation and the greatest event of bringing about epochal turning point in accomplishing the revolutionary cause of Songun that the leader was appointed to the supreme commander of the KPA on December 24 Juche 80 (1991), 15 years ago.

By having leader Kim Jong Il who has spirit and soul of legendary partisan, on the highest post of the revolutionary armed force the history and tradition of the Juche revolutionary cause President Kim Il Sung started and led to victory by arms are firmly inherited and the ultimate accomplishment are firmly guaranteed.

The sacred history of the KPA led by him as the supreme commander is annals that demonstrated dignity of the invincible revolutionary armed force throughout the world. It is heroic course that propelled glorious advance of the national independent cause with invincible military strength.

Kim Jong Il, the most prominent leader in the contemporary age, has led the struggle for defending socialism and the north Korea-US nuclear showdown to victory and opened wide avenue for building a powerful prosperous nation.

It is attributable to outstanding leadership of the leader who opened tuning phase of reunification by adopting the June 15 Joint Declaration through policies and lines for reunification based on the invincible Songun politics that the inter-Korean reconciliation and unity are promoted and the anti-US struggle is prevalent across south Korea.

North Korea¡¯s self-defensive war deterrent, offspring of the Songun politics, serves as a powerful sword in achieving a decisive victory in the showdown with the US and realizing peace and reunification of the country.

The south Korean people from all walks of life positively support the Songun politics, the pride of the nation, expressing their gratitude to the leader who declares ruin of the US ambition for world supremacy and brings about the dawn of reunification.   

Indeed, it is the greatest pride and privilege of the Korean people to have Kim Jong Il who opened the most glorious victory and honor in the history of the nation. as the supreme commander of the KPA

We solemnly recollect the revolutionary life of Kim Jong Suk, woman general of the anti-Japanese armed struggle, who brought up the leader as the bright star of Mt. Baekdu to carve out the destiny of the Korean nation.

Kim Jong Suk rendered immortal exploits in liberating and building a new country and reunification as the dearest comrade and backer of President Kim Il Sung from the day of the anti-Japanese armed struggle to her last time. She resolutely defended revolutionary idea and line of the President and created brilliant tradition of defending the leader at the cost of lives.

It is the greatest exploits of Kim Jong Suk that she brought up the bright future of the Songun revolutionary cause to provide a guarantee of Kim Il Sung nation to enjoy bless of the leader through generation after generation.

We, the vanguard fighters of the AINDF ad the south Korean people from all walks of life, will fully support your Songun revolutionary leadership, bearing in mind immutable faith and will that reunification and future of a powerful nation will surely be realized.

We will positively support the Songun politics and leadership for reunification of the leader, emulating Kim Jong Suk who showed noble example of holding the President in high esteem.   

Good health of the leader, sun of the 21st century and brilliant commander of Songun, is the unanimous desire of the Korean nation.
