Public sentiment on the Iraqi war in the US

The public opinion on the Iraqi war is getting worse in the US.

According to a recent joint survey released by ¡°The Washington Post¡± and the ABC, 56 percent of the American people said that no progress is made in Iraqi security.

17 percent of optimistic view dropped in three months compared with that of the survey in December last year.

It is the lowest percent since the first survey on Iraqi security was made on July 2, 2004.

65 percent respondents said the Bush administration has no clear plan to mitigate the grave situation of Iraq and over 52 percent respondents said that the US troops in Iraq should be withdrawn from now.
