South Koreans denounce vicious move

of the US against north Korea

Now the south Korean people strongly reject the US maneuver against north Korea as a provocative act for driving the dark cloud of confrontation and war in the Korean Peninsula.

The South Headquarters of the National Alliance of Youth and Students for the Country’s Reunification and the Anti-US Women’s Association expressed their indignation that the US, the worst violator of human rights, has no entitled to talk about the human rights, saying that the US misleads the public opinion on the alleged human rights issue of north Korea to justify its war policy against it.

Referring to the fact that the US ambassador in Seoul made preposterous remarks that north Korea is a “criminal regime” and the south-north economic cooperation should be adjusted, the Reunification Solidarity denounced that such behavior is a false political propaganda aiming at “collapse of north Korea” and open interference in the internal affairs of south Korea. The US ambassador who has engrossed in false propaganda against north Korea has no reason to stay in this land and he must apologize to the people and leave the country at once, it stressed.

Noting that the high-ranking officials of the Bush administration have clamor for “additional sanctions” against north Korea and openly revealed its intention of war aiming at toppling the system and “regime change,” the People for Peace and Reunification and the Seoul Area Federation of University Students Councils said that the real intention of the US is the hostile policy and constant war policy against north Korea, breaking the joint statement published in the fourth round of the six-way talks. It strongly demanded the US withdraw the plan of preemptive strike against and its hostile policy toward north Korea.

The National People’s Solidarity and other civic organizations held a news conference around the US embassy in Seoul denouncing the US fabrication of north Korea’s counterfeit note and made public an open questionnaire addressed to the US administration and the US ambassador to south Korea.

The religious organizations expressed their will to intensify the struggle for frustrating the US move to intervene the internal affairs of south Korea and expulsion of the US ambassador in Seoul.

The Solidarity for Implementing the June 15 South-North Joint Declaration and other pro-reunification organizations called upon the south Koreans to wage the various anti-US campaign against the US hostile policy toward north Korea and form national alliance for the withdrawal of the USFK.
