US,
the first violator of the human rights
The
US, though it behaves like an apostle of freedom, democracy and human rights, is
criticized as a real offender of human rights.
The
US newspaper ¡°The Washington Post¡± disclosed
in early November last year that the Central Intelligence Agency installed the
concentration camps called ¡°black facility¡± in several countries including some
east European countries, Thailand and Afghanistan and had managed it in secrecy
under the pretext of ¡°anti-terrorism¡± after 9/11 incident.
According
to a survey, it was that CIA¡¯s planes passed through the airports of Poland,
Romania, Cyprus, Portugal, Sweden, Denmark, Austria Iceland, Malta and Germany.
The
south Korean daily ¡°Hankyoreh¡±
denounced human rights abuse of the US in an editorial titled ¡°Is the US qualified
to talk about human rights?¡± ¡°The concentration camps managed by the CIA in
other countries after 9/11 incident draw international attention. It was reported
that about 100 suspect terrorists are
imprisoned in camps. The camps were built to avoid domestic law of the US which
stipulated impossibility of custody and interrogation without legal procedure. The
US exported anti-human rights facility to obedient countries with logic of strength
and make them partner of illegal acts. What is the important issue is human
rights abuse and torture in the camps. US President Bush slandered the north
Korea¡¯s human rights issue, but it is ridiculous that the issue of north Korea¡¯s
human rights is employed only for security and interests of the US. The secret camps
in other countries are a disgrace to the international community.¡±
The fact of plundering of cultural properties and the use
of banned chemical weapons by the US in Iraq disclosed the true color of the US
as a violator of human rights.
The Arabian paper ¡°Al
Arab¡± publishing in London, UK unveiled that valuable 170,000 historical
relics out of 500,000 displayed in a historical museum in Iraq were lost after
the US occupation of Iraq in 2003. The stolen relics were found in luggage of
the GIs and US diplomats.
According to the US paper ¡°The Los Angeles Times,¡± the US troops killed many Iraqi innocent civilians
at random by using banned chemical weapons at Fallujah, Iraq in November last
year. The use of the banned chemical weapons is a grave violation to the convention
on inhumane weapons as the US is a signatory of the convention.
The US, a greatest violator of the human rights, has no
face to talk about human rights.
