= Struggle for implementing the June 15 inter-Korean joint
declaration
Jan.1- The Solidarity for Implementing the June
15 South-North Joint Declaration issued an article titled ¡°Let us make 2006 a
year of victory opening a turning point of national reunification.¡±
- The Gwangju-South Jeolla Provincial Solidarity
for Implementing the South-North Joint Declaration made public a New Year
resolution, holding that it would take the lead in the struggle for independent
reunification this year.
Jan.3- The Daejeon-South Chungcheong Provincial
Solidarity for Implementing the June 15 South-North Joint Declaration issued a
New Year resolution titled ¡°Let us direct all our energies to open a turning
point of national reunification.¡±
Jan.5- The Seoul Area Federation of University
Students Councils under the south Korean Federation of University Students
Councils released a New year resolution titled ¡°Let us kindle a torch for
building a reunified country.¡± The Gwangju-South Jeolla Provincial Federation
of University Students Councils held a New Year meeting and made public a
resolution. The resolutions called upon the youth and students to carve out the
destiny of the nation by taking the lead in the struggle for independent reunification,
peace against war and great national unity.
