Congratulatory letter to Kim Jong Il

You provided the historic Pyongyang meeting with your far-sighted wisdom and great patriotic decision, thereby producing the June 15 joint declaration. You ushered in a new era of “By our nation itself,” the era of independence and reunification unprecedented in the history of the nation with your tireless leadership.

The day of reunification is bounded to break thanks to Kim Jong Il, the great Songun brilliant commander, just as the spring of liberation came to Korea thanks to Kim Il Sung, anti-Japanese veteran commander. This is the unshakable faith and will cherished in the hearts of the people in the south.
