Statement of the AINDF Central Committee
Recently the US
actively protected Posada Carriles, a wicked international terrorist, revealing
itself once again as the ¡°ringleader of terrorism¡±.
Posada Carriles who escaped to the US after the victory of the Cuban revolution is a notorious international terrorist wanted worldwide for his brutal terrorist acts under the aegis of the US for several decades in different parts of the world including the anti-US independent countries.
He has personally manipulated and executed a lot of terrorist acts against the Cuban revolution and took part in vicious plots to assassinate the supreme leader of Cuba.
He is, in particular, a class-A criminal who exploded a Cuban plane in the sky over Barbados in 1976, killing 73 on board including 5 north Koreans.
However, the US spared no pains to deny that he smuggled himself into the US in last March and asked for a political asylum and arrested him recently under the strong denunciation and pressure of the public opinion at home and abroad.
This plainly shows the double-faced nature of the US which is clamoring of anti-terrorism war in every chance.
It is the true nature of the US policy to apply the international law against ¡°terrorism¡± when necessary and disregard it when unfavorable.
The impure behavior of the US patronizing Posada Carriles, an international terrorist, sparks bitter protest and denunciation of the world.
The Central Committee of the AINDF resolutely states that Posada Carriles, a heinous terrorist, and his group who caused indescribable misfortune to many peoples in the world must face the stern punishment of history.
The US should extradite Posada to Venezuela at once and bring him to a punishment he deserves.
We firmly condemn the US, a shameless patron of international terrorism and a partner of the notorious terrorists, the enemy of justice of the world people.
Strongly denouncing the US which is protecting Posada Carriles and being desperate in its anti-Cuban campaign, the Central Committee of the AINDF expresses its firm solidarity to the Cuban people who are bravely fighting against the US.

The Swiss Committee for Korea's Independent and Peaceful Reunification remembers the 25th anniversary of the heroic Gwangju Popular Uprising in May 18, 1980. This uprising was a great anti-US resistance struggle against US colonial domination in south Korea. The victims killed by the military fascists with the help of US imperialist occupiers live always in our heart as revolutionary martyrs of the great Korean people. They sacrificed their lives for independence, democracy and reunification.
The US imperialism, the arch criminal who orchestrated the massacre against the Gwangju citizens, must be blamed before the world people and forced to apologize and compensate to the victim's families.
Glory to the heroic Gwangju people! They and all south Korean people will achieve national reunification soon under the banner of the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration and the "By our nation itself" spirit.
