An emergency enlarged meeting of the presidium of the NDFSK was held in Seoul on November 6.

Present there were members of the presidium of the NDFSK Central Committee and representatives of the provincial and municipal committees and other organizations of the NDFSK.

Discussed at the meeting was an agenda “The nuclear fuss of the United States against north Korea and urgent task of the NDFSK.”

At the meeting the participants unanimously said that the recent nuclear fuss of the United Stated against north Korea is a deliberate provocative deeds to return the rapprochement between south and north Korea back to the confrontational situation, which has been created favorably with the publication of the June 15 South-North joint declaration at the historic Pyongyang summit in 2000 and a declaration of war to exterminate the Korean nation in a nuclear war.

They stressed that the best way to settle the serious situation in Korea is not the US persistence in “north Korea’s abandonment of nuclear program first and dialogue next” but north Korea’s proposal to conclude a north Korea-US non-aggression treaty.

They expressed positive support to the north Korea’s proposal.

The participants specially stressed that the invincible army-centered politics of Marshal Kim Jong Il, leader of the nation and sun of the 21^st century, is the most powerful policy to frustrate the moves of the United States to stifle the north and a patriotic one to safeguard the dignity, security and interest of the entire Korean nation including the south and firmly guarantee the national reunification and prosperity.

They highly appreciated with great pride that it is a pride and treasure common to the nation that the north has mighty power to cope with the US nuclear threat.

They stressed that support to the army-based politics, the patriotic one and treasure sword of peace is due obligation and duty of the south Korean people, who are under the umbrella of the army-based politics.

The meeting discussed the orientation and urgent tasks organizations of the NDFSK should discharge to support Pyongyang’s proposal for a north-US non-aggression treaty and mobilize all the south Korean people to support the army-based politics.

The participants decided to conduct positive activities to propagate the reasonableness of Pyongyang’s proposal and patriotic validity of the army-based politics among the south Korean people and positively support it with various forms and methods in conformity with the character of different organizations and practical situation.

They also decided to jointly conduct the all-people struggle against the reckless nuclear fuss of the United States and ensure peace and security in the Korean peninsula with the anti-US and anti-war struggle including the struggle to drive out the US troops from south Korea.

And they resolved to unfold struggle against Lee Hoi-clang’s group pursuing confrontation against north Korea in collusion with Washington’s moves for a nuclear war against the north.

They resolved to make positive activities among the south Korean people to enlist them in a nation-wide anti-US and anti-nuclear national liberation war together with the north Korea compatriots if the United States provokes a nuclear war against north Korea.
