All the people!

Now the deep-rooted rancor against the United States has erupted into a fierce anti-US, anti-Bush resistance throughout south Korea.

The anti-US struggle occasioned by Bush's random description of north Korea as an "axis of evil" and his visit to south Korea is now developing to the struggle to foil the US imperialists' undisguised moves for a nuclear war in Korea.

The anti-US, anti-Bush struggle is not a struggle of some advanced sections of the people but a mass struggle involving all sections of people, not a regional but a nationwide struggle and not a sporadic but well-organized joint struggle.

It is a patriotic struggle to protect the existence, dignity and sovereignty of the nation.

By the ceaseless anti-US, anti-Bush struggle, warlike Bush has been hit hard and a new phase of patriotic anti-US struggle has opened in south Korea.

But it is only the start of the anti-US, anti-Bush struggle.

The danger of nuclear war is approaching to the Korean Peninsula, threatening the nation's existence.

The situation calls upon all the south Korean people to turn out in the anti-US struggle to safeguard the nation.

The harsh remarks and acts of the Bush administration, which designated this year as a "year of war", are geared to its intention to unleash a nuclear war against north Korea.

Bush, defining north Korea as an "axis of evil", made a harsh remark that the United States was ready for a "military attack" on the north. It is not a mere threat or blackmail.

The Bush government, saying that "north Korea may be a target of nuclear attack", embarked on developing new-type nuclear weapons to destroy peaceful objects there. It shows that Washington's plot for a nuclear war has entered a practical stage.

Bush's recent trip to south Korea was designed to finally examine the war preparedness and the following large-scale south Korea-US joint military exercise was a test operation for a nuclear war against north Korea.

At this moment, nuclear warplanes are flying in the sky over the Korean Peninsula, nuclear warships and missiles are poised in the sea and on the ground against north Korea and "green berets" armed with nuclear knapsacks are moving toward the north.

We the south Korean people can no longer remain onlookers under this serious situation.

There can be no distinction between the south and the north in the struggle to defend the nation's existence, dignity and sovereignty.

North Korea is the citadel of the nation's dignity and sovereignty and the people there are our brethren of the same blood.

The military threat and blackmail on north Korea is just a declaration of war against south Koreans, and a nuclear attack upon the north is a move to exterminate our nation with nuclear holocaust.

The modern war knows no distinction between the front and rear and the southern half of the peninsula can never escape from a nuclear disaster.

Belligerent Bush does not concern about the fate of our nation to materialize the US military hegemony over the world.

What the Bush government pursues is to relieve the American war industry and build a US-led world order by means of sacrificing the Korean nation in a nuclear war.

The danger of nuclear war is approaching to us nearer every moment. Now we need to have a resolute decision.

The Korean Peninsula is not a venue of Yankees for a nuclear war; it is the ground of living for the Korean nation.

All people who hold dear the destiny of the country and nation should turn out in the resolute anti-US, anti-Bush struggle to safeguard the nation and peace.

The hawkish remarks and maneuvers of the Bush government against north Korea are anti-peace ones to tense the Korean situation to the brink of war.

Our people should activate the anti-Bush, anti-US struggle to frustrate the US moves to provoke an aggressive war.

The US forces and nuclear bases in south Korea are the source of nuclear war and violation of the south Korean sovereignty.

In order to secure peace of the nation and sovereignty of south Korea, it is imperative above all to drive out all the US troops and nuclear bases out of this land and reject Washington's pressure for the purchase of US-made arms.

The south Korea-US cooperation is not a "peace cooperation" for south Korea's security but a warlike cooperation that will lead to a war in this peninsula.

Without frustrating Washington's pressure upon the Seoul government for the purchase of US arms, establishment of the missile offense system and cooperation with the United States in its policy toward north Korea, therefore, we cannot eradicate the danger of war.

Our people should strive for cooperation with the same nation in north Korea for peace and reunification against the warlike cooperation with the United States, the empire of evil.

The axis of evil is no others but the Bush administration that is bringing the danger of war to our nation that is struggling for independent reunification under the banner of the June 15 South-North Joint Declaration.

It is really resentful that our nation has undergone the tragedy of division for more than 50 years entirely because of the United States.

Now we can never tolerate the inter-Korean joint declaration to be disturbed by the United States.

The anti-US, anti-Bush struggle is just the struggle to protect and carry out the joint declaration.

By intensifying the struggle to foil the criminal moves of the Bush government to hamper the implementation of the joint declaration and stimulate inter-Korean confrontation we should materialize national unity and open the way to the independent reunification of the nation.

The US policy to ignite a war in Korea is being enforced by the south Korean conservatives seeking a Cold War. Lee Hoi-chang and his followers are traitors who have abetted their American masters into a hard-line policy toward north Korea and into harsh definition of the north as an "axis of evil". If such a pro-US stooge takes power in the forthcoming presidential election, the inter-Korean relations will inevitably return to a confrontational situation like that before the publication of the joint declaration and a war may break out in Korea.

Our people should reject Washington's political intervention and defeat the pro-US stooge Lee Hoi-chang in the presidential election to bury him politically.

Bush has become a target of international denunciation for creating worldwide tensions with unilateral military hegemonism and bringing the crisis of nuclear war over humankind.

The current situation requires popularization of the anti-US, anti-Bush struggle.

All the anti-American organizations and vanguard fighters should conduct propaganda activities to lay bare the true color of Bush, lead all people to join in the nationwide anti-US, anti-Bush struggle with national resentment and unite broader sections of the people in the anti-US organizations.

Victory of the anti-US struggle is ensured by the solidarity of all the national democratic movement forces.

All the anti-US organizations should realize solidarity in the struggle to check the US imperialists' war drills and frustrate their moves for freezing Korea's division and disturbing the implementation of the June 15 inter-Korean joint declaration. They should further intensify the joint struggle to sweep away all the US imperialist aggressors and nuclear weapons in south Korea.

Our people will terminate the colonial rule of the United States and national division, make the south Korean society independent and democratic and reunify the country without fail through a nationwide anti-US, anti-Bush resistance.
